- Welcome to MakeLoad v1.3x
-
- The first time you run MakeLoad, it will expand the internal files used for
- operation of the program. It is recommended that you read the MLOAD.DOC file
- first, located in this directory, but if you would like, you may start the
- program by typing "MLOAD" while in this directory, or anywhere in your system.
- Once inside the program you may read the HELP area, View the ONBOARD Tutor,
- and get the feel of the program. MakeLoad will NOT allow you to make any
- mistakes that may hurt your files while learning, but please be sure to visit
- the HELP section, or read the Electronic Manual(MLOAD.DOC) for instructions.
-
- You may find that MakeLoad is different in its' operation and service, than
- any program you have used in the past, but in time you will quickly see that
- it is a MUST for your program library. If you are tired of running out of
- space on your Hard Drive, and forget to backup like you know you should, than
- MakeLoad is the solution to your problems. MakeLoad is always there and is
- NOT a "TSR", so it will use NO MEMORY while you work with other programs in
- your system. MakeLoad has shown to be compatible with most everything.
-
- *** READ THIS, PLEASE! ***
-
- IMPORTANT: If you would like to give a copy of MakeLoad to a friend, you are
- welcome to do so, even if it is a commercial copy. You must give them the
- complete 2 DISK ORIGINAL MakeLoad Installation Set, and not try to collect
- up and package your installed copy, because your copy will NOT work properly
- for them.
-
- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- The Manual for version 1.3 Dated 06/10/93, has been UPGRADE to show all
- added features. ALL version 1.3xx Bug Fixes are stated below:
-
- Version 1.31
-
- Added extra PATH command checks for {space} delimiter following the PATH line
- command in the AUTOEXEC.BAT, to now assume SET PATH=, PATH=, AND -=> PATH{ }.
- Some systems using the {space} rather than the {=} would not show listings
- for the PATH DIRECTORIES in the AUTOMATIC Install mode. The INSTALLER would
- receive a NUL directory when the User pressed [Enter], and an error would take
- place in the copy file at 1.1 level. The MANUAL install does work fine, but
- the bug did need fixing so this was done, and will correct this display for
- these Users as well. Upgrade/Fix copies were sent to all active distributors
- FREE for correction to their libraries.
